Botswana National Climate Change Strategy 2018

Return to previous page This strategy is designed to provide the impetus for Botswana taking long strides on adaptation and mitigation, whilst meeting its socio-economic development goals, realizing Vision 2036, and achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It also supports alignment between Botswana’s response to climate change and its other international obligations under multilateral treaties and conventions. It is also intended to equip Botswana to subsequently develop a concrete project and programme concepts stemming from this strategy, positioning it for climate change funding support to these much-needed strategic interventions. © SADC 2021
