Indonesia's Climate Change Sectoral Roadmap (ICCSR) 2010-2030 Outlines Sectoral Plans and Mitigation Measures
The Indonesia Climate Change Sectoral Roadmap (ICCSR) is a strategic document designed to inform Indonesia's 5-year Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJM) for the period 2010-2014, and subsequent RPJMs extending up to 2030. The roadmap specifically focuses on addressing climate change-related challenges within nine key sectors: forestry, energy, industry, agriculture, transportation, coastal areas, water resources, waste management, and health. Its primary objective is to facilitate effective development planning and enhance coordination among all relevant governmental bodies, including ministries, departments, and agencies. The ICCSR identifies activities under the Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation Plus (REDD+) framework as the most promising measures for achieving climate change mitigation goals.
